Retired IAS officer Dr. G. C. Prakash has been appointed as the chairman of a high-powered committee for Uttar Pradesh by the Allahabad High Court.
A Kannadiga has been appointed to the high-powered committee formed for the proper and transparent implementation of the ICDS project.
He has served as Bangalore DC, Social welfare commissioner, Labour commissioner, MD MSIL, sugar commissinoer, BDA Commissioner, Regional commissioner, mysore, secretary Women and child development, Secretary, Food and civil supplies Dept, implemented two guarantees Gruha lakshmi and Anna bhagya.
The Allahabad High Court has considerd the successful implementation of projects in all departments that have worked for the people everywhere.
Dr. G. C. Prakash is responsible for providing the benefit of the ICDS scheme to 2.2 crore eligible beneficiaries of Uttar Pradesh who are lagging behind in development.
The High Power Committee includes Dr. G. C. Prakash, Senior Scientist, Govt. Prof. N. G. Malleshi, and Prof. Rakesh Kumar Sharma as members.
