BENGLORE: The Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) has launched a new initiative to resolve property-related issues in Bengaluru. BDA Commissioner Manivannan has introduced a WhatsApp-based complaint system, where citizens can lodge complaints and get resolution within 30 days.
How it works:
1. Property owners can WhatsApp their complaints to 95831-66622.
2. They need to submit relevant documents and details.
3. After verification, the complaint will be processed.
4. Within 30 days, the complainant will receive a response.
5. A public meeting will be held under the chairmanship of BDA Chairman, where issues will be discussed and resolved.
Conditions:
1. Only long-pending issues will be considered.
2. Issues that can be resolved within the legal framework will be entertained.
3. Cases with ongoing legal disputes will not be considered.
This initiative aims to provide quick resolution to citizens’ issues and reduce the need for repeated visits to BDA offices. The BDA Commissioner hopes that this initiative will bring relief to citizens and improve the overall efficiency of the authority.
